Orders and online sales

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by these GTCS, as well as by the policies referred to in this document and/or available via hyperlink (privacy policy, return policy, etc.).

Please read these GTCS carefully before making a purchase. By validating an order on the site, you agree to be bound by these GTCS. If these GTCS are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these GTCS.

We reserve the right to update, modify or replace any part of these GTCS by posting updates and/or changes on our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Hosting and platform

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.

Products

Certain products may be available exclusively online, on the website. These products may be available in limited quantities.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear in the store. We cannot guarantee that the display of colours on your computer screen will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction, where a legitimate reason justifies it. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any product that we offer. All descriptions of products or product prices are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue the sale of a product at any time. Any offer of a product made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of the products, information or other items purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors on the site will be corrected.

Prices

The prices of our products may be changed without notice. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time the order is validated.

Accuracy of billing and account information

We reserve the right to refuse any order placed with us where a legitimate reason justifies it (for example: suspicion of fraud, payment incident, manifestly inconsistent information, inability to deliver to the indicated address). We may, at our sole discretion, limit or cancel the quantities purchased per person, per household or per order.

In the event of a modification or cancellation of an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email address and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time of the order.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made in our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

Delivery

Processing time (preparation): 1 to 3 business days.
Delivery times (shipping – United States): 6 to 9 business days.

The indicated times are estimated (indicative) and may vary depending on the carrier, peak periods and external events. In the event of a significant delay, you may contact our customer service. If delivery does not take place after a reminder and a reasonable additional period, you may, under the conditions provided by law, request the cancellation of the contract and obtain a refund of the amounts paid.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the rules applicable to distance selling, you have a period of 14 days from receipt of the goods to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify your decision.

To exercise this right, you may send us an email at contact@globe-nomad.com clearly expressing your wish to withdraw, indicating your order number.

You may handle the product as you would in a store in order to verify its nature, characteristics and proper functioning. The original packaging and labels are not mandatory to exercise the legal right of withdrawal, but they are recommended when you still have them in order to protect the product during transport. In the event of handling beyond what is necessary, a depreciation may be applied where justified.

The right of withdrawal also applies to items sold on promotion (apart from specific legal exceptions).

Returns and refunds

Free returns: TG GROUP covers the return costs. After your request, we provide you with the practical instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return label.

Once the return has been received and inspected, we will inform you of the acceptance or refusal of the refund. If the refund is approved, it will be made to your original method of payment.

Refund period: we process the refund no later than within 10 business days after receipt and inspection of the return (and/or after receipt of proof of shipment where applicable), and in any event in accordance with the legal time limits.

Legal guarantees

Independently of any commercial policy, you benefit from the applicable legal guarantees, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, under the conditions provided by law.

In the event of a problem (defect, breakdown, non-conformity), contact us at contact@globe-nomad.com specifying the order concerned and, if possible, attaching useful elements (photos, description).

Terms of use of the site

The clauses below primarily govern the use of the site (user behaviour, content, third-party tools, etc.). They apply insofar as they do not contradict these GTCS and the consumer's legal rights.

Terms of use of the online store

By accepting these Terms, you declare that you have reached the age of majority in your country of residence and that you have legal capacity. You may not use the site for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, and you may not, in the course of using the site, violate any applicable laws (including, but not limited to, copyright laws).

You may not, under any circumstances, transmit any worms, viruses or any code of a destructive nature. Failure to comply with or any violation of any of the terms may result in the immediate termination of your access to the site.

General conditions

We reserve the right to restrict access to the site in the event of non-compliance with these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

You understand that your content (excluding credit card information) may be transferred via various networks and involve technical changes to conform and adapt to the requirements of the networks or connecting devices. Payment information is processed via secure providers and is encrypted during transfer over the networks.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any part of the site, any use of the site or access to the site or to any contact on the website, without our express written permission.

Accuracy, completeness and timeliness of information

We are not responsible if the information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or up to date. Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability

We do not warrant that the use of our site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. The site and its contents are provided "as is" and "as available" for your use, to the extent permitted by law.

Important: nothing in these GTCS/terms of use has the effect of limiting or excluding the mandatory legal guarantees, nor of depriving the consumer of their legal rights.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless TG GROUP (operating the Globe Nomad brand), as well as its officers, agents and providers, in the event of any claim or demand made by a third party due to your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, to the extent permitted by law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall nevertheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable part shall be deemed severed, without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.

Termination

The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the date of termination survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms are effective until terminated by you or by us. You may terminate these Terms at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use the site, or when you cease using our site.

If we consider that you are not complying with, or we suspect that you have not complied with, any of the terms or provisions of these Terms, we may also restrict or terminate access to the site at any time, to the extent permitted by law.

Entirety of the agreement

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. These Terms and any policies or operating rules that we post on this site constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us. They govern your use of the site and, for the sales part, your purchase of products.

Applicable law

These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you with services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.
